I also made this image - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/70351250 - with the exact same setup except used the flag from yesterday's PAD as the subject. You'll see that the difference of 12 inches in placement of the subject (2.5 feet yesterday and 1.5 today) plus changing from 70mm focal length to 105 makes a completely different image.
