Sunrise on the shore of Lake Michigan from a slightly different perspective - flat on the sand.
The light was really difficult; ended up flipping my graduated neutral density filter upside down so that the clear portion was over the upper part of the sky and the light was held back for the lower 2/3 of the image. This darkened the sand (unfortunately) but kept the mid part of the image from blowing out.
