This image is a little busy, but since the bee flew into the shot I decided to go with it. Today was a challenge with 25 mph wind gusts.
This was the third and final Saturday to the poppy field at sunrise. About 3/4 of the flowers are spent; by next weekend (when I'm on my way for 2 weeks of nature photography at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park) they'll be mostly done.
My wife asked what I'd find new to do today - "You've done macros, wideangles, from the top, from the bottom, from the side, shoot throughs, soft arty DOF extremes. What's left to do with those poppies?" and, you know, she's right.
