Trying to get a complimentary background is harder than I thought. Finding something that's large enough to fill the frame (even when using a long lens to reduce the field of view) and colorful enough to add something to the image hasn't been that easy. And then - when you find it (a background) there's usually no suitable subject to fill the foreground. Regardless, it forces you to look harder at what's around and to see things better.
