Continuing my attempts to *use* the background rather than fight it. Search for a complimentary background and, having found one, chose the best available subject to plop down in front of it. Use a long lens with its narrow field of view to keep distracting backgound elements at bay. May have overdone it this time.
Chose to shoot almost into the sun to get some contrasty lighting on the main subject hoping to pop it free from the competing background. Ended up needing a CP to cut out the glare.
