To celebrate the arrival of spring (snow/sleet/freezing rain with a high of 34 tomorrow) a shoot through with a miniature daffodil. Camera/tripod flat on the ground shooting through more mini-daffies and the weeds/grass. For a sense of scale/perspective, the flower is about 4 inches tall. It's about a foot and a half away. The daffies that I'm shooting through are literally against the wide open macro lens (with another - the higher one - about 4 inches away).
Also tracked down some Spring Beauties (Claytonia virginica) - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/57530452 and a macro of this mini-daffy - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/57530456
