Off to Meadowlark Botanical Gardens for their annual nature photo exhibit. Got 5 entries juried in to the show this year. I spent more time outside wandering the grounds in search of spring than I did indoors at the exhibit. But then, I'd rather play tennis than watch tennis - sort of the same thing.
When I started around the grounds, I wasn't sure what I'd find. I stopped at the first sign of green pushing up through the mulch - just in case that's all there was (it wasn't). I took several like today's PAD - bulbs breaking through the mulch. This was my wife's favorite - and who am I to argue since she does as well or better than I do when it comes to predicting which competition entries will do well.
