Saturday. No rush hour traffic between home & the battlefield. Hint of color in the pre-sunrise sky. Get dressed & see what we get with the canons. Same old, same old. Heading out anywhere pre-dawn is always a crap-shoot. You have to do it if you want to capture a special lighting moment, but those moments are few and far between - so you take what you can get and wait for another day.
At least I know which canons to chose and where to set up without wasting precious moments just in case it is a special morning. Nothing worse than to miss a golden opportunity.
