10/22/05 - Reflections

Walking back to my car after shooting a bunch of nightscapes and saw this bank window. Lots to look at - too much probably. From left to right we have a self portrait of the photographer, reflection of a art gallery across the street, intersection with traffic lights, a view through the window on this street on through the window around the corner to the shops across the street, and finally at the far right we have reality (I stuck a non-reflection in for contrast) - and of course you can look through the near window into the bank and see office equipment like a computer monitor. The traffic lights are interesting - notice the simultaneous green/orange - that's what happens with a long timed exposure and the light cycles during the exposure.
Immediately to the left (out of sight) is an ATM. A customer came up to it (it's very dark & raining, and I'm there with a backpack apparently photographing the inside of the bank) and had some strange comments to make about terrorists.
