8/10/05 - Black eyed Susan Shoot Through

Spent half a day at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. PAD is an old standby - shooting through a gaggle of black eyed susans that are close to the lens (lens wide open to blur these near flowers) while focused on a subject about 3 feet (1 m) away.
Didn't need to go there to get this shot, but did get a couple of infrareds that say Meadowlark - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/47511853 and http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/47511854

Nikon D70
1/160s f/5.0 at 220.0mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Great execution of the shoot through technique. I keep trying this, but have not gotten anything I like yet.--Rene
