Not a prime speciman; japanese beetles still a problem. Decided that it looked best from the side where the beetle damage was least obvious. Stopped the lens down as far as it would go (f/40) to try toget as much of the flower in focus as possible. Got most of it. Put a piece of black cloth behind it otherwise it's a brick wall.
