It's probably just me, but when I saw this stand of trees reflected in a pond - most especially because of the tiny sharp ripples in the pond - I thought "Painting." The ripples looked like fine brush or pen strokes. The overall disturbance of the water blurred the detail of the grove of trees adding to the painterly feel. I guess you had to be there. I went out looking for wildflower macros and, as a result, vowed to not remove the macro lens thus making this a happy accident because otherwise I'd never even consider the Nikkor-Micro 1:1 for this type of shot. A more conventional reflection of trees in water that was taken about 10 minutes earlier (different trees & water - a flowing stream) is at - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/41687197
