Another misty rainy day in the mountains. This shot sort of captured the mood. Don't get me wrong, we love the time hiking in almost any weather - even in the heavy downpour that caught us one mile down the file trail from the car. For a reward, just as we got back to the top there was a eight point buck taking his afternoon siesta. We didn't even faze him. He stood 30 feet away just starting. He even waited for me to walk to the car switch cameras and come back for more. Of course the cameras were soaked but seemed to survive.
