Fisher Gap fire road. The only paved fire road that I'm aware of in the park. Lovely for easy hiking. This is at a 170 degree switchback going down (uphill goes in almost the same direction as this piece - to the right of the large bolder at the right).

Steady drizzle and heavy mist/fog (what's the difference) all day. Good practice keeping gear dry. Great lighting for bring out the colors. Kept my 18-70 at the wide end all day and also kept a circular polarizer on all day.
