8/2/04 - Thistle

Extremes. Lotus yesterday & thistle today. Hadn't used the 105 1:1 for a few days.

Not all, but this one *was* plamped. Depends on the wind. It's also good, even in no wind, to hold the plant exactly where you want it and/or to hold distracting stuff out of the way. If it weren't so much to carry, I'd have a 2 plamps and a 2nd tripod just to hold the 2nd plamp. Also useful for holding diffusers & reflectors.

Gorgeous color on this. I found the album via the Nikon5700 Yahoo group...and glad I did. All these types of shots were taken with the 'plamp' clamp?
