Month #57 - Retrospective of Daily Photos posted from 5/04 to 12/09 (most viewers for the month)

In January 2009, I spent time outdoors in the snow making images with an eye toward B&W. This was one of them. On this one I experimented with some effects using Nik Silver Efex Pro (SEP) - a slight bluish tint to go with the cold and a light toned vignette for an old postcard effect. I love SEP; it's given new life to my B&W efforts. Here's what I wrote in 1/09 when posting this image -
1/28/09 - Winter Wetlands
I like wandering through wetlands like this. Lots of interesting photo ops but it takes a while to "see" them. This location is one that I return to often - this time to get a snow version.
