Month #50 - Retrospective of Daily Photos posted from 5/04 to 12/09 (most viewers for the month)

This image is case of making lemonade when nature gives you a lemon instead of what you wanted. Surprisingly, this image sat ignored & unprocessed for almost a year before I noticed it just sitting there. Here's what I wrote when finally posting this photo in 6/08 -
6/16/08 - Dark, rainy, windy night
Made last fall early in the morning on my way to a sunrise shoot. The wind and rain en route made it pretty clear that no colorful sunrise images were in the offing. Along the way I kept thinking that there's probably a nice image right here and right now - if I use the car's headlights. So - look for a likely spot, pull off to the side, leave the lights on, set up the tripod low to the ground on the road and shoot. Fortunately there weren't many other fools out that early so traffic wasn't a problem.
