I'm baaaack. Until my last post (on 7/30/09) I'd taken a photo a day - every day - since May 2004 and posted it to my website. I found my enthusiasm dwindling and decided to take a month off. Today's image is from the same location with the same subject as my 7/30 posting - just made a month later. It's a male Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (and a bee who wants the share the thistle). I used Nik's Color Efex Pro 3's Polaroid Transfer filter (selectively applied to everything except the butterfly & bee) for a more painterly presentation.
