One of several dozen small lakes in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore park (apart from that BIG one, Lake Michigan). After a disappointing series of of 5AM wake-ups with either no sun or no mist or neither, today made it worthwhile. A magical place with the sounds of bull frogs and loons (and the whine of mosquitoes - thanks, Deet). Spent an hour here - 30 minutes each before & after sunrise. Usually the color is in the first 30, but the mist which began to rise at sunrise changed that - the whole hour was perfect.
