More B&W conversion experiments. My recent conversion examples were focused on moody storm cloud shrouded mountains. This one is a clear blue sky sunny mid-afternoon shot made deep in Kings Canyon. I saw the opportunity for this composition and waited patiently for the better part of the hour for the moon to get into a good position. Had to set up my tripod in the middle of the road to get everything into the position that I had envisioned. So why this one for a B&W experiment? I wanted to experiment with the color set (blue, green, orange/brown) and see what happened when they all had to be B/W/Gray.
