A coyote stalking its prey - field mice, I think - on a rainy day.
More post-processing than usual for me. The grass & the critter's fur were very close in color so I converted this to B&W & selectively retained the coyote's color. That didn't look quite right so then I brought back some of the background color and popped the result into Nik's Color Efex Pro where the Polaroid Transfer filter was used (selectively on the background only) to soften it thus making the coyote "pop". The final result sort of works - and it tells the story much better than the out-of-camera version.
