Out for a walk in the unseasonably warm weather (near 70 F, normal is in the 40's) and took my new Lumix P&S walk-around camera. This is hand held from about 50 yards away. I cropped the image and processed the background with Nik Color Efex Pro's Polaroid Transfer filter to tone down the distracting clutter in the grass (but used Nik's magic masking technology to leave the heron unaltered).
