1/4/09 - Days of Wine & Tulips

Playing with the textured glass that I bought for myself for Christmas - and the tulips that I bought for my wife (I cannot tell a lie - they were for me). Add a glass of wine for inspiration (should have been red & not white zinfandel for better color) and you've got a still life.
Shot with a Nikon 18-200 plus Canon 500D closeup lens and a circular polarizer. Tripod & natural light.

Very nice artistic touch from that glass. I found some outside my office in the rain about a year ago and took a few shots. I need to go look for those.
