Cheating a bit on the daily photo. This is from two years ago. I came across it while looking for winter scenes with this oak in it.
This is a montage - a image made by overlaying two separate images. In this case, the oak image was overlayed with a close up of bark from a white birch. I tried to give it the appearance of opening a torn page. This is one of my favorite montages.
