9/16/08 - By the Light(?) of the Silvery Moon

Went for a walk last night and saw the top of the moon just beginning to peek over the horizon. No camera. Run home and back. Where's the moon? Darn - where'd those clouds come from? By the time I got back & the moon reappeared it had risen quite a bit (and the biting bugs had quite a meal). I actually planned(?) to have the moon lower & in the gap in those trees - but the clouds said no.
Decided to stop the aperture way down, turn the ISO as low as it would go and see what a longish exposure (30 sec) would do to those light streaks in the clouds. Since the image was all dark and colorless I converted it to B&W (except for the moon & the brightest reflections) - for all of the difference it made.
