Spider web back lit by low golden rays of the sun minutes after sunrise. After shooting a few conventional straight on shots, I moved the camera so that it was looking at the web from the "edge" and opened the aperture wide open (which for the Nikkor 18-200 isn't all that wide). What I wanted (and got) was just a narrow piece of the web in sharp focus and the rest of the web to appear as out of focus orbs. What I wasn't expecting (but liked) is the fact that the in-focus portion didn't reflect the golden light and so it's silver colored which helps this area stand out even more.

Shot with an 18-200 lens plus Canon 500 D close-up lens attachment. Within 2-3 minutes of making this image the rising sun stirred up a breeze (dead calm before) and this shot became impossible due to the movement of the web.
