Washington National Cathedral

To me a subject like this with high ceilings, tall windows and soaring arches begs to be shot in a vertical (portrait) orientation. I didn't realize how strong my sub-concious was until I processed my shots and found over 90% were shot this way. In the representative sample of this gallery, it's 22 of 24. Makes a case for the L-bracket I bought for my camera which makes flipping the camera without having to readjust the tripod a piece of cake - otherwise I suspect the ratio would have been reversed.
