Roads in India defy all expectations. I've travelled amongst 5 or 6 lanes of traffic, jostling for space in narrow dusty lanes and without so much as a bump occuring. On the drive from Chandigarh to Jalandar, I saw 2 accidents but only had the camera to hand for this one. The actual crash happened before we arrived. What I don't understand is how it happened at all...On this road. Wide. Tarmaced. Traffic generally behaving properly. Perhaps it's a tourist attraction. Perhaps the lady in the bright attire has the bright idea of selling tickets? We drove on.
