If anyone knows a better delta blues guitarist and singer and storyteller then please tell me. Then I will tell you that you must never have heard this guy. Quite simply, he is astounding. His grit-laden vocals are perfect for his own compositions and the songs of his mentors and influences: Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Huddie Leadbetter, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Willie McTell & Rev. Gary Davies, to name but a few.
