Aspects of Riga, Latvia

In May 2006 the Ice Hockey World Championships were staged in Riga. This already popular old city was even more exciting and lively during this time. The architecture of the city is quite wonderful, not to mention a number of amazing monuments and churches and a fantastic, scenic park that runs through the centre of the city. If there is a more beautiful small street of stunning Art Nouveau buildings than Alberta iela then please let me know, should not be missed on a visit to this great city.
