Thanet lies at the most easterly point of Kent, England. It used to be separated from the mainland by the River Wantsum.
Although no longer an island, it is still known as the 'Isle of Thanet' or more affectionately by some as 'Planet Thanet'!
This gallery is my attempt to compile a mixture of images from the Isle, to demonstrate the diversity of the landscape and its' people (past and present).
