I moved to America a year ago, but am having a bit of a homesick moment and googled Minnis Bay. My parents used to live in Manston, Kent, and your photographs bring back many wonderful memories of walking along Minnis, cycling to Reculver and playing boules on the beach, (where a small dog once 'watered' my mothers new leather hand bag, much to my 3 children's delight, and my eldest son on his first fishing trip to the crab pool, 'caught' a grandad!! Poor Dad still has the scar!)
Looking at your pictures I can feel that sand under my feet and that sea splashing my legs again. Thank you for such beautiful views and reviving my belief that as many lovely places there are in the world, the Kent Coastline is indeed a jewel.
