The Chartres Cathedral is famous for its indoor labyrinth. This outdoor labyrinth is
behind the cathedral and at a lower level. Photographically speaking, you may have noticed
that the horizon is out of kilter on this image (it's actually at the top right). After spending
several hours in the cathedral I think I was so stupefied by the scale of the cathedral and all
the magnificent stained glass windows and sculptures that my brain literally couldn't process
how to frame this shot properly! So I just took a shot that included the entire maze and
figured that I'd "fix" it later. WRONG!
