In the Sunshine
Dad says I sometimes look stern or mean in my photographs, which is completely paradoxical since I am the most loving girl in my interactions with people. I've never met a person I didn't like! Well, okay, there may have been ONE person!

Our friend Blackie
This is our friend Blackie, a neighborhood stray. He's a bit of a ruffian and keeps the other outdoor kitties in line.
Mom and dad feed him and give him water whenever he comes by. At one time we had eight neighborhood cats coming to our house for snacks, but now we only have two or three regular visitors.

Taking a nap, cheek-to-cheek with dad. It's a little slice of heaven for all involved.

Harriet Resting
I had an awful bout with Inflammatory Bowel Disease just before my one year anniversary of living in my new home. Mom and dad thought they were going to lose me.
It took a few months of steroid therapy and carefully controlled diet (first Hill's Prescription Diet W/D and then I/D products) to get me back on track.

Soaking up warmth from the flagstones and watching birds.
You should see me go into "predator" mode if a bird lands in the neighbor's yard! I don't know what I think I'm going to do with no foreclaws and no teeth, but they excite my instincts nevertheless.
Dad rescues me before I go too far astray.

Mom's glass makes the best water bowl
Water is never more tasty than when it comes from mom's drinking glass! Take your eyes off your water glass just a minute and you'll gradually become aware of the sound of "slurp, slurp, slurp" as I drink it down.
Yes, of course I have my own water bowls. I just like yours.
