Response: Your instincts are right and the composition could have been much better. I just grabbed the shot whist still overawed by the whole spectacle.
There were other factors too. The lady in blue was not part of my tour group. I was accompanied by my lovely wife and difficulties could ensue had I seized and posed someone else’s.
Nice shot. Another good touch of color. It's difficult to say if the composition could be better because I wasn't there. Maybe shot from more to the left so he didn't block the Taj in the distance. Again, difficult to say, because that angle might not look right if done. Just a thought. You have some really good images in this gallery.
