Two small birches cling on to the barren rocks along the shore on Hovinsholmen in lake Mjøsa, Hedmark county, SE Norway.
Note that the apparently curved horizon is just the outline of the rippled water, beyond which the surface is calm.
The real water end is here defined by the shoreline along the land on the other side. Or in other words, just where the sun reflection in the water ends.
