La Vieille & La Plate

The two lighthouses outside Pointe-du-Raz, close to Plogoff, Finistère, Brittany.
La Vieille ("The Old Lady" - to the right) lies on a rock known as Gorlebella (Breton for "farthest rock"),
across from the companion lighthouse Tourelle de la Plate, also known as Petite Vieille ("Little Old Woman").
They're set up for guiding ships though the treacherous strait Raz de Sein, where violent waves and tidal currents rule.
The cliffs at Pointe-du-Van (Cap Sizun) in the background.

@Guest:
Thanks for the correction. I just picked the name used in Wikipedia,
and from the name painted on the "La tourelle de la Plate" itself.
Makes it kinda shorter only, as we all know they are lighthouses and turrets anyway.
