We had one of these in our pool yesterday. I have seen the same type before inside our pool enclosure. JoAnn, Vero Beach

Saw this for the second time in my back yard. Curled up I couldn't tell its size. Shiny bluish body, orange by head. This 2nd time we were closer to each other, we both jumped/slithered in opposite directions, in North Palm Beach county East of A1A near a sandy-hill canal bank. At least I hope it was a Drymarchon.

I believe I saw one of these in Lecanto Florida while walking my dogs in the woods. It was black and became rust colored from its center to its tail. Beautiful elegant head with a glossy sheen. It was about 3.5 feet in length.

They aren't venomous and they eat cottonmouths. Good snake to have around

I saw this snake in a park in Lakeland. It was at least 3 feet long...kinda scary since it's a school park and kids all over...
