IT was a hot sunny ride up to Big Cedar from Austin, Texas. Temps nearing mid eighties. Partly cloudy skies. Hot weekend ahead for forum rally.
Big Cedar is in the valley below. The road heading towards the horizon is highway 259 which intersects the Talimena Scenic Drive five miles further up the road.
