Thanks for the commentary; glad you enjoyed the image. The lighting was a little harsh that day, but the birds were willing to pose and were unconcerned about my presence in the blind, so...

Glad you enjoyed the image of the male goldfinch. I have owned three different models of digital cameras, and would have to say I have been pleased with the color renditions from each -- provided I pay attention to correct exposure up front. I use minimal post-processing; essentially the colors and saturation are what comes directly from the camera. Good luck with your choice; take the plunge and start imaging!

This is magnificent!!! WOW what a beautiful colors! I want to buy a digital camera but I am still not sure wich one I will choose....But you make it a little easier for me! Thanks for sharing.
