These feeders aren't really squirrel-proof, but I did choose feeders which have metal around the opening so (hopefully) the squirrels won't carve them up as easily as they might if the plastic wasn't protected. We have the only nut trees within two blocks, so we have quite a growing poultaion (three active nests) of these furry rascals!

Is this another one of those "Squirrel-Proof" bird feeders? I love the way these little critters defy all of the engineers who try to devise ways to keep them out of bird feeders. Thanks for posting this along with the shots of the invited guests at your feeder.
