After one quick pass in Laguna B-Mix from last semester's leftovers, we tackled a set of six
fairly large mugs made with Highwater "Loafer's Glory" clay. All were destined for a salt-glaze firing.

Final results? Well, methinks the one word description is "disaster" but we'll try to be positive.
It was an excellent experience in pulling handles on the piece; the basic construction was pretty good.
Where the slip flaked off, the color of the salt-fired clay looks pretty nice -- wish I'd left a
couple of pieces unglazed. The interiors came out quite nicely. Ah well. next year ...
