This is the mid-section of the Perkiomen Trail from Central Perkiomen Valley Park, a Montgomery County recreational facility to a bit north of Schwenksville.

Schwenksville itself has an eating place that specializes in ice cream, and also Perkiomen Bicycles (formerly Tailwind) where bikes may be rented for trail use. They are a dealer for Jamis, Orbea, Surly and others, and in their previous incarnation were the source of Ye Olde Photographer's current wheels.
