There are a number of diversions from the
original right-of-way. This one cuts over
through Central Perkiomen Valley Park, a
Montgomery County recreational facility, then
eventually crosses to the east side of the
Perkiomen and travels perhaps a mile or so on
that side. This avoids two grade crossings
of Route 29 which the original rail line made.
