Lambertville is a small town across the Delaware River from New Hope, Pennsylvania. Both towns draw a lot of tourists to shops, restaurants, and viewing a range of architectural specimens. Lambertville was incorporated in the mid-1800s, but enterprises there, such as Coryell's Ferry, pre-date the Revolution.
This gallery was kicked off after a little group of photographers who meet occasionally in Doylestown to discuss their photos decided we should do a walk-thru somewhere. This event ended up happening on December 11, 2016, a dull gray Sunday when temperatures barely got into the 30ºF range — a sort of environmental test for cameras and photographers! Ye Olde Photographer worked with his Yashica TLR (6x6cm) and to a lesser extent, his Ercona II (6x9cm). He proved a bit rusty with the latter and overlapped the first two frames to the point of being useless, plus wound past a blank frame after being uncertain if he had or hadn't wound after the previous shot. There is some evidence of camera shake in a couple of shots, a result of cold hands, but all in all, the results are a bit better than expected. If such winter activity continues, we may be off to get some gloves with finger slits used for another kind of shooting!
