This is a sizable piece, as can be judged by the mugs behind it. It was built up from three sections of slab,
as a single piece that size in a plastic state collapses too easily (learned empirically!) There are still many
possible potholes in the road ahead -- like collapsing in firing -- but the ol' fingers will be crossed.
