This is essentially a commuter rail line, operating between Naples and Sorrento,
with some branches to other locations in between. In the stretch between Pompeii
and Castellamare runs through so many tunnels it feels like a subway. It is the
perfect way to get to the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Ercolano.
