This unit plugs into the side of the C3 with two pins that hold the flash gun and connect
the electrical workings. The unit runs on two C cells as shown at the lower left. The
old-time metal Kodak 35 mm film can gives an idea of the scale. This unit used #5 or #25
bulbs which were about the size of a golf ball and had an automotive style bayonet base.
