This was a hot shoe mount flash in production around 1980 or so. My dad used
this one with his Canon AE-1. This is of the "thyristor" variety which would quench
the flash based on light sensed by a photocell in the gun. It had two power ranges and
could be operated as full-powered manual. Alas as of a year ago, it is non-working.
