We had a visit from the Artstream Nomadic Gallery and two days of discussion and demonstration by three ceramic artists whose work is included in the gallery. Here we see some of the presentation by Lorna Meaden.

Lorna works at her studio in Durango, Colorado. She works primarily in soda-fired porcelain, creating functional pieces with a great deal of attention to form related to the function. She does quite complex decorating with carving and slip-filled designs.

NOTE: Ye Olde Photographer missed the beginning of the Monday sessions due to a scheduling conflict so regrettably there is not much shown of creating the initial forms.
